Hi friends!
Here I am again. Sorry its take so long but I have written some new posts its just taken me a few weeks to actually post them, so you can put the emoji with the hand to her face here because I know, I feel you. Anyways I did one post about my observations from the North and the South as well as about teaching preschool. Besides those things though, other things have been happening.
First things first I made a quick trip back to the States in April. I had 10 days off from work because a bunch of holidays ending up being close to each other. Awesome! So I went home, surprised my grandma, and helped my sister with some wedding stuff. The big day is coming up in November and I can't wait.
Then May came around and it was pretty busy. It was the time of writing reports and having open lessons. So I had a week of absolute stress because parents were coming to watch our lessons. However the light at the end of the tunnel was.....I got a new job!! I have been offered a teaching position at an international preschool. Yes I will still be teaching but now I am teaching in one school all day and I have my own class. I loved my work and it has taught me a lot about teaching a foreign language but its time to move on and move up. That was basically my big news guys. You can keep reading but thats really the big update(lol).
After May I had a few days to enjoy before summer camp. This year was sports themed so I have been playing and teaching baseball and basketball in the nice hot sun. Although it is hot, I will say that I am enjoying playing again even if I'm not as young as I was when I played. I mean one 20 minute game had me calling for oxygen. This week is actually my last week for summer camp with my current job and next week I start a new summer camp(not sports themed) for my new job. What can I say I love summer camp! Once the summer camps end me and Pasquale will be taking our first trip together to the States. We are so excited! One because we finally are having a vacation and two he gets to meet the rest of my family. We are starting in San Francisco where I will be taking him to his first ever baseball game(ah so excited!), then to Reno, multiple trips to Tahoe and a quick Vegas trip will be in there as well.
At the moment thats pretty much everything. So far this summer we have made it to the beach once, on the cloudiest day since we've had warm weather and fried our skin off. We scored free Ed Sheeren tickets for Pasquale's birthday which was awesome and we've eaten all the gelato in attempts to stay cool. Besides that we are just counting down the days until we are on vacation.
Hopefully I will have some new posts after vacation but this might be all for awhile, per usual.
